Practice Time!

Orchestra students are off to a good start. Let's keep it up by practicing at home at least 4 days a week for 30 minutes at a time. Everyone has practice sheets with assignments. Make sure to get everything learned by the next lesson.

Welcome Back!

Welcome to a new year in Middle School orchestra! Handbooks have been passed out and part of it needs to be turned in to Mrs. Greenwell. Make sure your student is practicing now. 7th and 8th graders have a concert in November and all orchestra students have their first playing tests next week. We have 68 students in the 7/8 group this year which is up from 54 last year. Remind students to get to class on time, be ready to play, and quiet when it's time. Cello and bass students can use a school instrument and not carry theirs to and from school. Rental forms will be passed out tomorrow (9/4). They are $50 for the year.
